- Social event: pre-Christmas twinning bring and share supper, Friday 3 December 2021, 19:30, at Jackie and Chris Bow’s; please bring a plate of savoury or sweet food, and a drink.

- Social event: 22 August 2021: twinning barbeque at Tony Smith’s.
- 17 November 2020: AGM, at 19:30, by Zoom.
- 5 July 2020: post French visit barbecue, at Tony Smith’s, details to be confirmed – subject to lifting of Covid-19 restrictions.
- 1 to 4 May 2020: proposed visit by our friends in Villedômer – sadly, and for the first time since Villedômer and Stapleford were twinned, the annual visit has been cancelled.

- 7 March 2020: Film Evening at Mary and Chris Cooper’s, 19:00, with a ‘Bring and Share Supper’.
- 24 January 2020: Travellers’ Tales from France, at the Community Room in Cox’s Close, 19:00 to 21:30, with a ‘Bring and Share Supper’.

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, it was not possible to hold our usual annual exchange visits in 2020, 2021 or 2022. Our social events during these years were also very limited.
